Good Night For Home Teams In MSL

It was a good start for the home teams in the Malaysia Super League.

Big spenders Johor Darul Takzim flew out the blocks in their game away to Pahang with goals from internationals Safiq Rahim and Norshahrul before the home team fought back in the second half with R Surendren scoring the winner eight minutes from the end.

Perak had to wait for injury  time before getting three points at home to T Team while champions Kelantan also required an injury time winner to overcome PKNS who had taken the temerity to score first up in Kota Bahru.

LionsX11 showed Singapore's 3-0 triumph in KL during the recent ASEAN Cup was no fluke though. They bucked the trend in the first round of MSL fixtures by defeating Premier League champions ATM 1-0 in Paroi.

In the other game Selangor defeated Negeri Sembilan 1-0. The game was of course at home.
