Malaysian Fan Groups Boycott Merdeka Tournament
A number of Malaysian fan groups have publicly announced they will be boycotting the upcoming Merdeka Tournament being held in KL in September.
Apparently, they're not happy with how the game is being run and they seem to think not supporting the national team is a way to improve things.
Judging by recent attendances at Malaysian FIFA World Cup/AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, will anyone even notice?!

Intriguingly, crowds at those qualifiers, meaningful, important games one would think, were much smaller than those at last years Merdeka Tournament!
