South Melbourne to maul the Bulls
You gotta love them fair dinkum Aussies. Their boundless optimism before going into any sporting fixture has to be seen to be believed. And when the result doesn't work out as they predicted...well just look at what the Sydney coach said before and after their Asian Champions League game against Persik back in 2007.
Next week South Melbourne will be hitting Singapore to take part in the Singapore Cup and yet again the feeling down under is all they have to do is turn up and they will win by a healthy margin.
Cool.
I wonder what Gombak United coach Darren Stewart and Aussie midfielder Goran Subara will have to say about that?
The game itself takes place next Wednesday

I really think some South people are seriously underestimating the quality and professionalism of the opposition, let alone the conditions these guys play in, much more hot and humid than suburban winter football in Melbourne.
I'm not nearly as confident the perspon who writes the Kiss of Death entries for my blog, but I'll guess we have to wait and see.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many, but the club set up flight/accommodation packages, and a few are making their own way up.
