Maguire eyes FIFA
Australian Josh Maguire is in limbo land. Unwanted by Persebaya he had hoped to move to PSPS on a loan deal till the end of the season. But there was an outstanding fine that hadn't been paid, which I guess is why it was outstanding, and PSPS were not in a position to pay it.
I understand Persebaya are refusing to pay it. So Maguire is left in the middle. He can't pay until the fine is paid and nobody wants to pay the fine.
He is thinking about taking his case to the world governing body FIFA. Where no doubt it will sit in someone's in tray gathering dust for an age.
Persikabo were recently deducted three points for an incident that happened two or three years ago while I understand Persisam and Arema have also been involved in cases.
With some people trying hard to instill a professionalism in to the game there are, unfortunately, many more who are not ready to make that step.
Indonesia is already in decline. The World Cup bid was a joke while Persipura's efforts in the Champions League have seen them thrashed in both games and the national team lurches from one non qualification to another.

Ol' Nurdin seems to have a thing for nullifying other peoples' decisions.
Par for the course from an FA that can't even send a prospective national team manager an entire contract.
