Chalk and cheese
The Thai Premier League fixtures for 2010 have already been announced and the League starts in frigging March.
Here in Indonesia they have just released the fixtures for the second tier Indonesia Premier League which kicks off on 25 November.
One is four months in advance, the other two weeks.
Most games in the Thai League are in and around Bangkok. You can get to the stadium on the bus and still be home for tea.
Indonesia requires flights and overnight stays. For the poor saps travelling to or playing for PSSB Bireuen you have to factor in a six hour bus journey across roads as smooth as a Mexican pizza with extra pepperoni then find a hotel in places far from the tourist trail.
What can I say?

This is a very welcome development. However, this is the first time such a thing has happened. In the past the fixtures haven't been made public until the very last minute - which was extremely frustrating. Let's hope that this really is the beginning of FAT getting their house in order.
