Another Thai heads to India
Songsak Chaisamak, young (DOB 10/07/1983) defender (stopper) of Thailand is arriving at Kolkata for trial tonight.
He was part of the Thai Port FC team which won the Thai FA Cup recently organized by Football Association of Thailand, to become the Champion Team of Thailand. He was also part of the Fifa U-17 World Cup (final rounds) held at Napier in 1999.
Traditionally, Thai players have always been successful in the past for Mohun Bagan.
If selected, he will be registered for the ONGC I-league under Asian Player Quota.
Songsak becomes the 3rd player to leave Thai Port following their FA Cup success. Pipat Thongkaya moved to Persisam in the ISL while Wisut Bunpeng moved to Viva Kerala
