SAFFC Champions - again
SAFFC's 1-0 victory last night against Sengkang Punggol meant they became SLeague champions for a record 4th time - something not even Manchester United have achieved as Aleksander Duric told me last week. The bean pole striker made his own personal tally 28 for the season as he looks to sew up the golden boot award. Again.
Funny season 2009. There has been some good stuff on the field, see this interview with commentator Dez Corkhill, but unfortunately most of the headlines came off it what with Tampines Rovers seemingly throwing in the towel by allowing three of their best players to move overseas while Blatter's bully boys decided to kick DPMM out of the league with just a couple of games to go.
