Following the story
Last weekend the story in south east Asian football was the Muang Thong United v Chonburi game no question about it and I was lucky enough to get to cover it.
This weekend the story is Arema v Persija with the four Singaporeans on show. So what the bloody hell am I doing in Singapore, taking in a meaningless Malaysia Cup tie?
Before the Indonesian Super League fixtures were announced I had made arrangements for this weekend trip and the vagaries of budget airline travel, plus the call of the day job, meant changing it was impractical.
However, chin up old bean. I am hoping to meet a few key people over the next 36 hours for an exclusive piece on Jakarta Casual TV which will probably start going on line on Tuesday...
