Do it Aremania style
I have no idea what Ongisnade means but it is the name of what I guess is an independent Arema supporters' website and bloody well designed it is to (all in Indonesian).
The guys there produce an excellent looking on-line fanzine called, obviously, Ongisnade, but for some reason after I download it I can never open it! Of course it's in Indonesian and I'm not sure whether there is a hard copy available as well. Should be and would be excellent value.
But there's more.
More than once I've had reason to complain about the lack of marketing savvy in the Indonesian game but these chaps are showing what can be done with a bit of thought and effort. They have just set up there own on line store, the first of its kind I think in Indonesia.
Now if there are any Singapore fans who would like to see the Arema v Persija game on Sunday featuring Noh Alam Shah, M Riduan, Baihakki Kaizan and Fahruddin Mustafic I know what I would do. I would try and track down the Arema Supporters Club in Batam and find out where they are watching the game.
In fact that would also make a good story for the mainstream media but hey, England are playing...
