Jam karet
Roughly it translates as rubber time. 9 am can mean 9 am or 10. or 11 or whatever anybody wants it to mean.
The ISL season is scheduled to begin on 11 October. And has been for bloody yonks. But it seems that not all clubs are fully on board and there are machinations behind the scenes to delay the kick off by a month.
Except that a month would soon become six weeks given the two internationals against Kuwait in November.
There is a sound enough reason why the season could be dealyed. It is currently Ramadhan, the fasting month, and that has to have an impact on a player's training schedule.
But no one whinged about it before.
The clubs whinging are of course those who have not yet got full squads for whatever reason.
