Arema have 14 players
According to Ongisnade, possibly the best website in Indonesian football?, Arema, and their new coach Rene Alberts, have officially signed 14 players for the new season. Six players were with the club last season including Roni Firmansyah and Zulkifli while they have also snapped up Indonesian international keeper Markus Horison.
Also added are the former PSMS striker Rahmat Affandi and a couple of young players from Pelita Jaya; Gery Setya Adi Nugraha and Jalaludin Main.
Arema are also involved in a tug of war with their bitter rivals Persik as they seek to re-sign their former striker Patricio Morales.
