Wilkinson & Duric
I got a text yesterday from one of my moles saying that an Indonesian club is interested in signing Singaporean internaionals Aleksander Duric and Johnny Wilkinson. When I asked for more information the messages dried up and, in fine tabloid style, when I saw them last night I said nothing.
One other name linked was Persija's striker Greg Nwokolo.
I do know that this club are looking at a wholesale mid season clearout and that they are perhaps better off financially than most of their rivals but to go for such high profiles signings does, I think anyway, go against the mantra of their coach who is focussed on youth.
If this story has legs I'll update with the club concerned but until then it's nowt but gossip lad.
