PSMS take on SAFA?
It is being reported locally that PSMS will play SAFA from Lebanon in the ACL qualifying round. Dates I have seen are 18 and 25 February.
I would imagine the home leg would be played either in Palembang or Jakarta as Medan's stadium isn't fit to graze cattle. I would lean towards Jakarta 'cos I wanna see the game and also the Lebonese side will be knackered after a long flight and won't be arsed dicking around in transit.
Of course there's no guarantee Indonesian teams will even enter the Asian cometitions. They didn't enter the 2008 version because the season hadn't finished in time and in 2006 the FA didn't send off their applications in time.
Should everything proceed then Sriwijaya, having won the double in 2007, will enter the ACL while PSMS, as runners up in the League, will play off for the right to enter Asia's most prestigious tournament. Lose and they go into the AFC Cup.
UPDATE - as they're supposed to be playing a team from the eastern region it seems daft that they're playing a Lebanese outfit. Perhaps the silly buggers meant SAFFC from Singapore?

I think it's more like SAFFC.
Previously, the Thai reps played the Vietnamese reps, and left Singapore to play another qualifier now from Indoneisa
But the draw takes place on Jan 7, so things will probably change
