Remember the ISL?
The Indonesia Soccer League should be back with us this weekend with a few games scheduled for 9 pm kick offs to allow the players time to rest after breaking the fast and to inconvenience fans going home after the game.
06/09 Persik v PSM
07/09 Persija v PSIS,
07/09 Arema v Deltras
It is not yet clear whether or not Persija fans will be allowed to attend the game at Bung Karno on Saturday. I have no idea how this will this transpire but one reason for the pitiful attendances at the recent Independence Cup was the treatment dished out to the fans of Jakarta's biggest club.
The AFF selected Indonesia as one of the co hosts of this seasons AFF Cup because of Indonesia's ability to deliver fans. As most of the Indonesian support comes from Jakarta you can bet this little hoo ha will be solved by December when the bi annual competition kicks off. Fans dressed as seats don't look too good on TV...just ask Middlesborough!
