Persipura Go Clear
The Black Pearls from Jayapura brushed aside Persitara 3-0 last night to move three points clear at the top of the ISL with 10 points from four games.
Elsewhere Persela beat Persita 1-0 in a game where Marcio Souza did not, I repeat did not score. Persiba beat poor old Deltras 2-1 and the Sidoarjo club, shorn of stars Pronetto, Hilton and Jose Sebastian are rooted at the bottom of the table.
Today sees Arema host PSIS and the Malang club will be looking to put in a decent performance after the disappointment last time out against Pelita Jaya when they lost 2-0.
Pelita Jaya can go back on top of the ISL should they manage to overcome a rampant Persik in their own Brawijaya fortress.
Both games are live on TV so watch this space. Perhaps we can forget about the Persija nonsense and get back to enjoying some football.
