Given the limitation of my equipment I am only photographing the first game of the double header but on Friday I may stick the flash on and try for some of the cup winners.

just a 70-300 mm VR. works well if it's light but less so when it gets grey as it often does here
don't use the flash at the stadium.
next step will be an f/2.8 lens but then we're talking big bucks...

yeh 2.8 lenses are big money, especially big ones. maybe try boosting the ISOs(?) or sticking on auto-iso...

sigma have a 70-200 mm f/2.8 which comes in about 8 juta here while the nikon is 21 juta!
first i need a new laptop...then we ll think about a sigma
