Indonesia Super League
The big kick off for the new age of professionalism in Indonesian football is days away. Saturday sees Persipura travel to Palembang while in other scheduled games Pelita Jaya host Persiba and Persita entertain Arema. Both games at Jalak Harupat Stadium. Possibly. There's some quibbling going on as to who must pay for the floodlights.
Sunday sees PSMS from Medan in North Sumatra host Persiwa Wamena from West Papua. The venue for this match up between the sides who have the furtherest to travel?
Bung Karno in Jakarta. Possibly.
The old owners of PSMS and the new owners of PSMS are bickering. The League have said they must decide if they want to be part of the league or not. If not then everything will go ahead with 17 clubs.
I will probably attend the PSMS match on Sunday...if they are still with us...then again the Under 16s are on the same day...hmm
