Embarrassing
No, not the result. Australia well deserved their 6-0 victory and Indonesia well deserved their scoreline.
No. What was embarrassing was the way the Indonesian players kept dropping like flies and having to be carried off the field of play on a stretcher. Rather like what we see week in, week out here domestically.
Just a reminder but we are talking about an Under 16 tournament here. Not a bunch of aging drunks who break into a sweat doing up their laces.
Time and time again people here have talked about players' fitness levels. Nothing seems to be done about it.
