Dollo announces squad
With a busy year planned new national team coach Benny Dollo has announced a provisional squad of 35 players who will start training next month.
Keeper : Markus Harison (Persik), Ferry Rotinsulu (Srwijaya FC), Dian Agus Prasetyo (Pelita Jaya), Yandri Christian Pitoy (Persipura)
Defence : Ortizan Salossa (-), Christian Warobay (Sriwijaya FC), Mohammad Nasuha (Persikota), Richardo Salampessy (Persipura), Nova Arianto (Persib), Charis Yulianto (Sriwijaya FC), Muhammad Roby (Persik), Muhammad Ridwan (Pelita Jaya), Fandy Mochtar (Persiter), Usep Munandar (-), Glenn Poluakan (Persibom)
Midfield : Suwita Patha (Persib), Syamsul Chaerudin (PSM), Eka Ramdani (Persib), Ian Kabes (Persipura), Arif Suyono (Arema), Mahyadi Panggabean (Persik), Ardan Aras (Pelita Jaya), Firman Utina (-), Paulo Rumere (Persipura), Heru Nerly (Persipura), Hariono (Persib), Ade Suhendar (PSPS), Legimin Raharjo (Persik), Ponaryo Astaman (Persija), Elie Aiboy (Selangor FC), Boas Salossa (Persipura)

With two players based overseas Dollo has said he will converse regularly with the coaches at PDRM and Selangor to ensure Aiboy and Sudarsono keep playing to a high standard.

Why the fuck Ponaryo is still on the squad. His performance this season had been lucklustre both international and domestic form. Syamsul is 10x times better. I am also dying to see youngster Irfan Bachdim playing in Utrecht. Dollo hasn't ruled out the possibility him joining the squad providing that he proves that he's playing good in Utrecht

persija are stil trying to assemble their squad while many players have stayed or are being renewed. no news yet about persipura but i would be surprised if many players left.
nothing has been finalised yet except the aff championships in december. there is talk of an independence trophy in august, there is talk of bayern munchen, juventus, brazil, new zealand...plenty of talk but nothin concrete yet

they want robertinho to stay. not sure about the others though i understand they are after a keeper, hendro kartiko has been touted
players tend to be on season by season contracts here which explains why some have gone to malaysia for a few months
it does make things difficult though because players have no idea where they will be one season to the next
christian gonzalez is being linked to persib at the moment though i gather he wants to stay in persik...who knows?!
