Copa finalists hit by suspension
Both Persipura and Sriwijaya will be hit by suspensions for tomorrow's Copa Final at Bung Karno Stadium. The Papuan giants will be missing Ian Luis Kabes while Sriwijaya will be without national defender Charis Yulianto and Christian Lenglolo.
Boaz Solossa is available to play after being out for 6 months.
Persipura go into the match as slight favourites. Sriwijaya have played two ties over the last 10 days or so which both went to extra time and given the Black Pearls strength the longer the game goes on the more chance they have.
Irrespective of who wins, both are good footballing teams combining pace and strength with no little skill. Like the semi finals, in the main, let's hope the game is played in the right spirit. The only shame is the winners won't be able to enter the Asian Champions League until 2009. Then we will have the question, if they win, of how visiting teams will play Persipura
