Working for the Sin dollar
For a country built on the entreprenarial spirit it seems odd that Singapore football doesn't do more to market itself to the fans. In the 3 games I went to, only Geylang had a stall selling merchandise. Young Lions had a registration desk while at Tampines I saw nothing. Obviously there is merchandise available, at each game there were fans wearing club stuff, but for the casual fan it's difficult to track down. Having 2000 + fans paying 5 dollars every few days doesn't seem the strongest of business models.

Exactly, as a Singaporean, as well as a design, branding and marketing trained person, i totally agreed and have the same sentiment. Disappointing isnt it?
