On penalties
Medan won the Bang Yos after extra time. Julio Lopez, for many the player of the tournament missed a crucial spot kick for Semarang.
Oddly enough the team which has lost the last couple of bang Yos finals in 2004 and 2005 went on to win the League Championship. Surabaya and Kediri.
Medan next season?

Nice goal
Curler from 20 yards. 1-0 Medan and now half time
0-0
Manly United against Medan nearing half time.
Not good enough for Manly...Rossi just worked the keeper and hit the side netting

Still not heard from my Semarang mate
2-0 to Jakarta and again they had a player sent off
It's a funny thing
But not heard from my Semarang mate yet. Could this because they are losing 1-0 to Jakarta approaching half time?

Semarang crush the Zebras
4-1 according to my none too biased Semarang supporting mate.
I'm still pissed from last night but I did go past the stadium yesterday and it was empty.
Oh well...

Today's fixtures in the Bang Yos
See Bulleen take on Semarang while Medan play Kediri.
Two games on a Saturday afternoon and I'm in the area, I should make the effort but this beckons and, well, beer is beer and even The Ibu has given me permission to tag along.
Anyway sod all happening in the English league, just some Manchester derby...
we're on the beer!!!
Oh and you guys at soccer forum, why won't you let me see the thread? Eh? Eh?

4-0
another disallowed...
3-0 to Kediri
Bit of a stroll really for the East Java side against MU
The Christian Gonzales show
He lays on one then scores a delightful second, a sublime chip outside the box. That guy is quality.
Kediri are 2-0 up against Manly.
I've seen bigger crowds at pub games mind...

Tigers maul the Zebras
Jakarta's nickname is Kemayoran Tigers which seems odd as the last time a tiger would have been spotted in that neighbourhood would have been about 123 years ago.
Still, why let the truth spoil a good headline?
Job done, the Jak win 3-2!

5 minutes left...
Can Jakarta hold on in the final stages?
Next up is Kediri against a bunch of effeminite surfie types from the Steyne Manly United.

Voyeurs!!!
We're getting plenty of traffic from www.soccer-forum.net but god knows why. They won't let me read the boards!
Bulleen losing 6-2 now...party time in Jakarta!
Bulleen losing 6-2 now...party time in Jakarta!
3-2
I wish the Bulleen keeper was Australia's wicket keeper!!!
Jakarta down to 10 men
Herman sent off for being a daft bastard and kicking some Aussie with his studs showing.
Off he goes and the commentator says in English don't try this at home.
It's a hoot!

G'day mate
Packed terraces at Lebuk Bulus for the game. Good to see the Jakmania trying out their English with an Aussie greeting on a large banner.
Javier Rocha is shooting for fun but good to see Roger Batoum really can't hit a double decker bus with a strawberry donut
Still 2-2 approaching half time.

Early goals
Jakarta go 2-1 up after 12 minutes against Bulleen.
First Aliyudin gives the host a a goal start with a drive angled across the keeper from the inside left channel.
The visitors equalise with a free header from a corner.
Javier Rocha scores a pearler catching the keeper off his line and then as I'm writing this Bulleen score again with another free header from a corner...
2-2...I need a lie down and Bulleen have just had a goal disallowed for offside!
